Abstract

The article analyses some of Borys Grinchenko’s correspondence with an ethnographer Vasyl Kravchenko. The letters contain information on the life and activities of two prominent public figures, the publication of ethnographic materials. The letters also reveals the last period of the life of the writer T. A. Zinkivskyi. The letters testify the common outlook, patriotism, the desire to serve the Ukrainian people, and the struggle for raising the level of education.
